Approximately 90% of our orders are shipped the same business day or the next day following receipt of payment. The rest are shipped within 2 to 7 business days.
Domestic Shipping
For the fastest, most reliable shipping, use USPS Priority Mail®, which claims to deliver anywhere in the US within 2 to 3 business days.
Orders weighing 13 oz or less (this includes the weight of the packaging) are given the option to be shipped via USPS First-Class Mail®. This service generally takes 2 to 5 days to deliver.
On orders where all items are eligible (books, educational placemats, wallcharts), USPS Media Mail® rates will be offered. This is the most economical way to ship. Delivery by this method can take anywhere from a 2 days to 4 weeks, though usually it is less than 2 weeks.
Flat Rate Shipping is generally the same as USPS Media Mail®, except that it allows for some or all of the items to be shipped for free, for qualifying items.
The shipping charge will be the actual postage amount plus a $2.25 handling charge which is used to cover the cost of packaging materials (envelopes, boxes, labels, etc.) and order processing expenses (eg credit card processing fees). Wallchart orders require an additional $0.50 handling charge plus $0.10 per wallchart. Certain educational placemats also require an additional $0.05 or $0.10 per placemat.
Free Shipping is offered for certain items, when using "Flat Rate" shipping within the continental USA. If all items in the order are eligible for free shipping then the entire order will ship for free. If some items are not eligible, then these items will ship at their full shipping price, but the weight of the "free shipping" items will not be added to the shipping weight of the order. When checking out or estimating shipping charges, select "Other Shipping Options" to display the "Flat Rate" price. Flat Rate shipping is usually shipped via USPS Media Mail®.
International Shipping
We will ship to all countries where law and order prevails. However, the only language we can communicate in is English.
Most orders weighing 4 lbs or less (this includes the weight of the packaging) are shipped via US Postal Service First-Class Mail® International. This mail is not insured. However, we have found it to be very reliable to most countries. We will guarantee delivery for all cases except where customer fraud is suspected. Estimated delivery time is 1 to 3 weeks.
We also offer US Postal Service Priority Mail® International. The price given includes insurance for the value of the order. Estimated delivery time is 6 to 10 days.
The shipping charge will be the actual US Postal Service rate (including insurance for Priority Mail) plus a $2.50 (US funds) handling charge which is used to cover the cost of packaging materials (envelopes, boxes, labels, etc) and order processing expenses (eg credit card processing fees, US Customs paperwork, etc). Wallchart orders require an additional $0.50 handling charge plus $0.10 per wallchart. Certain educational placemats also require an additional $0.05 or $0.10 per placemat.
Note that when choosing your shipping method during checkout, the default will usually be the most expensive method (the US Postal Service does this, not us!). Be sure to choose the method that is best for you!
