The front of the placemat allows the person to learn their basic digraphs (both beginning and ending) with this chart. There are 2 words and 2 pictures for each short vowel and 2 words and 2 pictures for each long vowel sound. The back of the placemat has blanks ready to be filled in for self-checking.
