The "Let's Practice Signing" placemat can be a useful tool for children and even adults to learn about the sign language alphabet. It is great as a gift, homework helper, teacher resource, homeschool aid, an activity taken along for traveling, or it can be hung it on the wall as a poster. This placemat is laminated with a thick, firm surface that won’t curl up on the edges and will last for years. The corners are rounded for safety, and it is made in the USA. It measures 11½ x 17½ inches. The front of the placemat features a graphic representing the correct signing symbol for each letter of the alphabet. On the back, the graphics are scrambled in a random order, the challenge is to write the correct letter for each symbol in the space provided. It may be written on with many wipe-off markers and crayons (see category Crayons and Markers). The placemat easily wipes clean for use over and over again. From Edumat.
