"Our World" placemat can be a useful tool for children to learn world geography. It is great as a gift, homework helper, teacher resource, homeschool aid, or an activity taken along for traveling. This placemat is laminated with a thick, firm surface that won’t curl up on the edges and will last for years. The corners are rounded for safety, and it is made in the USA. It measures 11½ x 17½ inches. The front side features a "relief" map of the world. The back side is designed for basic shape recognition and as a geography primer. Each side is designed for basic shape recognition and as a geography primer. The challenge being to select an outlined shape of a country and match it to the correct shape on the main map.
